Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Community Food Outreach! Volunteers diversify and expand the services that we are able to provide the families and children we serve, and we rely on volunteers to help hurting families. Volunteers from our community support each of our programs. Each day, people like you help us stock our shelves, sort clothing in our thrift center, greet and assist families, and more. Hope truly does begin with you.

Volunteer Opportunities

Community Food & Outreach Center is open to individual and group volunteers anytime Monday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Some of the many volunteer opportunities on campus include:

  • Sorting and stocking shelves for the Cost Share Grocery and Emergency Food Box programs
  • Assisting clients with computers in the Crisis Relief Center
  • Sorting and stocking donations in the Thrift Store
  • Volunteer coordination
  • Coordination of special events
  • Special group projects

Getting Started

Group Volunteers
Group leaders should contact us to plan a group volunteer project:
Email: volunteer@communityfoodoutreach.org
Call: 407-308-0233, option 1

Individual Volunteers
Individual volunteers should get started by filling out our online volunteer application and then signing up for a volunteer orientation date. During your orientation, you will work with our volunteer coordinator to find the perfect placement for your service, learn about what the Community Food & Outreach does, and then set up a time to come back and volunteer. Orientations will last about 30 minutes.

Schedule your volunteer orientation today and start making a difference in the lives of your neighbors.
